Setting up the organisation

Time entry unit, length of the working day, working days: the settings shared by the whole organisation.

1 min read updated October 2026

Some settings apply to the whole organisation and affect workload, time and budget calculations. They are reserved for administrators.

Opening the settings

  1. 1
Open the Admin Console in the left menu.
  2. 2
    Choose Organisation.
  3. 3
    Open the Configuration tab.

The main settings

  • Entry unit — time and workload are entered in hours or in days.
  • Length of a day — the number of hours in a working day, used to convert hours into days.
  • Working days — the days of the week that are worked, taken into account when spreading workload.

Caution: these settings change how all workloads and time entries are displayed. Preferably change them at the start, before the team logs its time.

The console's other pages

The Admin Console also covers the management of users, teams, reference milestones, project templates and, depending on your options, absences.

Frequently asked questions
