A project template lets you start a new project with a ready-made structure: lists, tasks, milestones, views, members. Templates are available depending on your organisation's options.
Turning a project into a template
An organisation administrator can turn any project into a template, from the project's action menu. The template then disappears from project lists and appears in the project creation window.
The Templates page
In the Admin Console, the Templates page lists all the organisation's templates. You can remove the template status there, so the project becomes a normal project again.
Administrators also choose the featured templates, offered first to all users when they create a project.
What a template includes
When a project is created from a template, Gladys copies the lists, tasks, subtasks, milestones, Gantt links, views and shared people. Dates are recalculated from the chosen start date, and all tasks start again as "To do".
Good to know: take care of your templates as real model projects: task descriptions, realistic durations, reference milestones. Every new project will benefit.
