Migrating from the previous version

How your data from the previous version of Gladys is carried over to the new one.

1 min read updated October 2026

If your organisation uses the previous version of Gladys, the Gladys team carries your data over to the new version: you have nothing to re-enter.

The steps

  1. 1
    Request the migration via the contact page: the Gladys team organises it with you.
  2. 2
    Your data is exported from the previous version.
  3. 3
    The import creates your organisation in the new version, with its users, projects and their content.
  4. 4
    Each user receives an activation email to choose their password: previous passwords are not carried over, for security reasons.

What is carried over

  • the organisation, users and teams;
  • projects, their lists, tasks, subtasks, Gantt links and appointments;
  • portfolios, views, custom columns and forms;
  • time entries, workload, progress, statuses and budget;
  • comments, the discussion feed, documents and all attachments;
  • project templates, reference milestones and time categories.

Throughout the migration, the previous version remains available: no data is lost.
