Managing a project

The mind map

Structure the project's ideas and tasks as an editable mind map.

1 min read updated October 2026

The mind map shows the project as a tree: a central topic and branches. It is ideal for a scoping workshop or for reorganising a project.

Choosing the root

The map's central topic can be configured: start from the whole project or from a specific item to focus on one part.

Editing the map

  • Rename a node — click its label.
  • Create a node — add a branch from an existing node.
  • Move a node — drag it to another branch.

Good to know: the mind map is one more view of the project. What you change there is reflected in the other views.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see the Mind map view?

It depends on the options enabled for your organisation. If it is available, add it with the + button of the project's tabs.

Are the map's nodes tasks?

The map is based on the project's content: what you change there is reflected in the other views.
