Working in List view

A complete table of tasks and subtasks: custom columns, sorting, filters, Total row and export.

1 min read updated October 2026

The List view shows all the project's tasks in a table. It is the most complete view for entering and comparing information.

Reading and organising the table

Tasks are grouped by list, with their subtasks below them. Each column can be sorted by clicking its header, and resized or moved with the mouse.

Choosing the columns shown

In addition to the basic columns (title, status, dates, assignees, progress…), you can show custom columns: text, number, date, choice list, progress, workload, budget. System columns can also be renamed or hidden.

Filtering

The filter panel lets you show only some tasks: by status, by person, by period, by a column's value…

The Total row

At the bottom of the table, a Total row adds up numeric columns and summarises progress, depending on your organisation's options.

Exporting

The view's action menu lets you export the table to Excel or PDF, with the columns shown. If you select tasks, only the selection is exported.

Good to know: column order, width and visibility are saved: you find your table just as you left it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit a task directly in the table?

Yes, most cells can be edited by clicking them: status, dates, assignees, custom columns…

Does the export include subtasks?

Yes. If you export a selection containing a subtask, its parent task is included to keep the context.
