Sorting and filtering

Every column in project and task lists can be sorted and filtered, whether it is one of your custom columns or a system column (title, owner, creation date…).

  1. 1
Open the column menu, in its header.
  2. 2
Choose a sort (ascending or descending) or add a filter.
  3. 3
Active filters are shown next to the page's other filters: click them to change or remove them.

Your sorts and filters are saved for you, separately for each context: a portfolio, a team, a project, its tasks.

Renaming or hiding a system column

System columns are set up like your custom columns: you can rename, hide or remove them from the list. Only the Title column is mandatory, but its label can be renamed.

These settings are independent from one portfolio or team to another, and also apply to task and subtask columns.

Frequently asked questions

Do my filters apply to other members?

No: sorts and filters are personal preferences.

Can I delete the Title column?
