Getting started

Discovering the home page

The home page is the central entry point of Gladys: your tasks, your team discussions and an overview of your projects on a single screen.

As soon as you sign in, Gladys takes you to the home page. Designed to give immediate visibility on the day's activity, it saves you from browsing several screens to know where your work stands.

The top bar

At the top of the interface, you will find the cross-cutting features available from any page:

  • Global search — to quickly find a project, a task or a message.
  • Notifications — to follow alerts related to your projects in real time.
  • Discussions — quick access to the tool's messaging.
  • User profile — your name and avatar, which give access to your account settings.

The side menu

The left menu structures your whole workspace:

  • Home — the main dashboard.
  • Personal — your individual workspace.
  • My portfolios — projects grouped by business area (the counter shows 0 until a portfolio has been created).
  • My projects — the full list of projects you have access to, each identified by a coloured dot.
  • Admin Console — reserved for administrators: Organisation, Users, Forms, Reference milestones.

Good to know: a My favourites section automatically appears above My portfolios as soon as you pin a first project, so you can reach it in one click.

The "My tasks" widget

This widget gathers all the tasks assigned to you, split into four tabs: Overdue, This week, Upcoming and To schedule, each showing the number of tasks concerned.

Each task shows its title, its period (start date – end date), the project it belongs to and the Kanban list it sits in. A search bar lets you find a specific task without switching tabs.

The "Discussion" widget

This widget brings together the latest messages from all your projects in a single feed, with for each message: the project concerned (identified by its coloured dot), the author's avatar and name, a preview of the content and the date and time it was sent — handy to keep an eye on communication without opening each discussion.

The "Projects" widget

At the bottom of the home page, this widget gives a table view of all your projects, with several features:

  • New project — to create a project directly from the home page.
  • Search and filters — to find a project by keyword or with filters.
  • List / Card toggle — to choose the display that best suits you.

For each project, the table shows the following columns: Title, Description, Created (creation date), Creator, Shared (the people the project is shared with) and Project portfolios (the portfolio or portfolios the project belongs to, "No value" if none).
